Aura Science Team Meeting on Atmospheric Constituents with Participation from ENVISAT, GOME, and ACE

The Fall 2005 Aura Science Team meeting will take place in the Hague, Netherlands from Tuesday, November 8, through Thursday, November 10. The Aura Science Team invites members of ACE, GOME, and ENVISAT Science Teams to participate. The topics will include scientific results from tropospheric and stratospheric composition measurements, comparisons between various instruments, and the results from validation activities.

The Aura Project Scientists will develop the scientific agenda for this meeting. Abstracts for both poster and oral sessions should be submitted via the web site by October 1.

The Science Team meeting logistics are being organized by NIVR, in cooperation with KNMI and NASA. Click here for registration and hotel booking. The registration fee will be 100 Euro for early registrations, and 125 Euro for late registrations (later than October 1). This fee covers the cost of lunch and refreshments during the meeting. Registration will start on Monday evening, in conjunction with a welcome drink.

The Science Team meeting will be preceded by a policy-makers' symposium on Monday, November 7. This symposium will consist of invited presentations concerning societal impact of their constituent measurements from members of the GOME, OMI (Aura), and SCIAMACHY (ENVISAT) Science Teams.
